Wishbone Poster Set - Follow My Lead. READ! by The-Toy-Chest Wishbone Poster Set - Follow My Lead. READ! by The-Toy-Chest
One side of one of the posters from a two sheet set of educational materials that was sent to elementary grade school teachers in 1995.  Since each sheet was double sided, they could be folded out and used as posters for the classroom.  The materials included a curriculum enhancement guide that promoted reading and literature.

This is the cover of the set: the-toy-chest.deviantart.com/a…

This section features the suggested educational tips: the-toy-chest.deviantart.com/a…

I remember seeing these in my school! I loved how they had different posters and book marks relating to movies/tv shows/celebrities to try to get kids to read. I wonder if they still do that?

Aw, that is so cool that your school actually had these posters up when you were a kid!  :aww:

As to if they're still using tv characters and celebrities to encourage kids to read, I'm really not sure.  I can't say that I've seen much of that type of advertisement recently.  It seems like it was more of a 90s thing.  :hmm:

I guess it was a 90s thing. What a shame! I always thought it was really cool. Then again, I was (am) a book worm :D
