Entry for =BlackStables's Draft, Stock, and Light Photo Show.

----------------

The unseasonably warm weather this week has left the horses in very sedate, lazy moods. With the heat of the sun bringing the grasses back to life, the Idlewild horses have it easy.

I have a quick question, as you seem to work a lot with model horses and all. Do you know of any way to get shiny marks off of your breyers? I have many and even when I put blankets on them to bring them places, they still get marks all over them. Thanks so much!

Yes, actually! There are these really great erasers called "kneaded erasers" that work really well for this. You should be able to find one of these erasers at an art or craft store and they are only a couple dollars. I just rub the shiny marks on my models with my kneaded eraser until the shininess is dulled and not as noticeable. This method has not caused any of my models any harm and has always been able to soften up those pesky shiny marks. Here's what one looks like: [link]

Hope that helps! :)
